Three Doctors? #the subtle difference in Ten and TenToo’s hair and facial expressions #and Donna #and as much as I could spend 25 out of every 24 hours thinking about Rose/Ten/TenToo shenanigans #I could spend another 25 hours of that same day thinking about Donna/Ten/TenToo #whose shenanigans would be MUCH different and involve WAAAAY more clothes #(except for the odd accident with the defabricator and how Donna screeches and covers her eyes and #moans about how she’s mentally scarred for life afterward) #but there’s so much snarking and brilliance and the way they get so hyper-creative when they’re #problem solving together #And Donna finds herself a brilliant handsome bloke on some planet halfway across the universe #and Ten and TenToo corner him just outside the TARDIS and grill him about everything #and his intentions toward Donna #and if he even THINKS about hurting her #how they know this bloke - welllllll more of a sentient ball of moss isn’t he Doctor? #Yes that’s right Doctor the sentient ball of moss that secretes acid and owes us a favor #Oh that’s right I’d forgotten about the favor bit Doctor that’s quite clever of you to remember that #I’m always clever Doctor #Yes yes we are always clever #Where were we? #Oh that’s right #The acid-spewing ball of moss who owes us a favor and how you’re never going to do anything to hurt Donna isn’t that right? #And then Donna bursts out the TARDIS doors #eyes rolling to the high heavens #and pulls her handsome bloke inside while grumping at them to leave off #and that ball of acid-spewing moss doesn’t owe us a favor she says #we owe HIM a favor #so put a lid on it you two before I knock your heads together #And one of them rubs the back of his head while the other one tugs his wonky ear and they agree to end him if he hurts Donna anyway #even if the sentient ball of moss isn’t available for suitor-disposal (via gallifreyburning)

#i have just realised absolutely that this is my favourite episode #it is everything that i miss about rtd era to be honest #but having billie and catherine act their hearts out at each other for an episode is basically an honour to watch #the expression on rose’s face when she tells donna she’s the most important woman is like the most beautiful thing #she looks moved by it… in awe of her… like it’s an honour to even get to tell her #and donna’s complete lack of self-esteem is the most heart-wrenching thing #it makes the whole arc more tragic than any death on the show #and from the moment ten said to donna ‘her name was rose’ i feel like these two were destined to meet #and it made me so happy they did #rose and donna would have been as close as they both were with the doctor #i just… WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL #they are just my two favourite companions #and they got an episode #a fucking episode #the defining episode of donna’s character basically to me #and the moment you get it confirmed that rose is bamf who doesn’t wallow in grief after doomsday #she fucking fights to get him back #and save the universe in the process #the reason ten/rose/donna never could be a series is clearly bc donna and rose are too fucking competent by the end #it would go too well and everyone would be like ‘no one’s died this whole series and they’re just saving everybody’ #and i would be like GREATEST FUCKING TEAM EVER #but seriously #these two #nothing compares (via notabadday)
