why?
this episode is entirely about the dramatic performances, particularly of miss catherine tate and lady billie of piper. the girls prove all the brilliance of the tenth doctor’s selection process, coming together to save a doctor-less world. it’s much more stripped of effects than usual in my humble opinion, and allows the girls to prove their acting chops. I love it for that. and it’s brilliantly clever. david also offers the best of his talent at the end of the episode upon the return of ‘bad wolf’.
