#ugh this is one of the greatest moments in anything i’ve ever seen #pretty sure i was in tears because it was so amazingly beautiful #thank you joss for your fantastic female characters #and giving the world a show with the most badass women ever created #i just remember pat rothfuss talking about this show when i saw him do a talk #and he just said how one day he was rewatching an episode from like season six or seven #and realized that he was watching them trying to figure out how to stop this demon #and it was buffy and willow and anya and tara and dawn #and then there was xander #and he just realized how fantastic that was #and how what’s even more fantastic was that it was completely natural and unnoticeable because you don’t watch buffy and think shit this … #is going against all of these media tropes #you just watch buffy and get attached to these characters and these stories #and they just happen to also be feminist as well #basically buffy is the bestest and i love you joss even though i’ve cried more tears because of you than probably anyone else
